About Paul

Married, living in the upper midwest, two kids by current marriage (son born in 2000; daughter adopted in 2003 from Guatemala), and one by a previous marriage (son born in 1978, 22 years and 1 day before my youngest son).

Prone to making mistakes. Sometimes discouraged by making them. But as long as I make 'em, that means I'm doing something, right? Is it better to do something and risk error, or is it better to do nothing and never err? (Yes; I'm engaging in self-talk and self-counseling here.)

Want to make a difference in the lives of others. Struggling to take the next step in launching a coaching service.

Christian. Pragmatist. Except for the atheist component, Objectivist (read Ayn Rand). Liberterian (capitalized here only because it's the first word - the only word - in this sentence, but not a member of the Liberterian party).

Private Pilot, though I haven't piloted an aircraft in decades.
